Too often educators are blamed for the failures of our students in the public education space as parents are not educated regarding their role in powerfully exercising their rights through advocacy. Teachers are also regulated by the bureaucracy and red tape surrounding the challenges parents face in trying to secure appropriate education for their child. This is why our varied services and workshops are centered around advocacy and empowerment through agitation. We are mindful of not putting blame where its nonexistent; when parents empower themselves and challenge the status quo so their child can receive a fair and appropriate public education; then the veil of unwarranted burden appropriated to educators will be lifted.
